Today's Reflection

The meaning of love is to sacrifice yourself. --St. Therese of Lisieux

"Good manners are made up of petty sacrifices."
—_ Ralph Waldo Emerson_
That's exactly what my mom did. She wanted the best for us. She will always be remembered for her big heart; she was always willing to lend a helping hand. She loved her family dearly, she went all out for them; as much as she loved her family, she cherished her friends. There will never be anyone else like my mom, she's irreplaceable. I love my mom and I believe she still lives in our hearts. I refused to believe or admit she's gone. One day, someday, I still have that hope that we will see her again Godwilling. In Heaven, that day will not be long, because Heaven is timeless.

Dreaming of You

Last night, I dreamt of my mom. It took place at our church, and it must have been on a Saturday because she was about to teach catechism. There was about 7 children in the classroom. I wonder what this could mean? More than likely, she wants us to continue the tradition of teaching children the word of God.

Thank you Jesus, for letting me dream of my mom last night. If I could keep you alive, I'll sleep forever.
Love you and God Bless.

Love You Forever

I miss my mom. Just out of nowhere the song from Walker, Texas Ranger came into my head and it got me wondering I wonder if there's a TV in Heaven, or something close to it. I don't know, that was just me being random. It's a mystery.

She also loves the book, "Love You Forever" about a mother who gives birth to a baby boy, and loves him no matter what, when he grows the baby boy takes care of his own mother. It goes something like this, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be." I love you, Mom.

My First Blog

This is my attempt at writing. I will start by listing my commandments that I have listed for my Happiness Project.

1) Life is about balance, to learn balance takes time.
2) People are gentle spirits so always be nice.
3) Take lots of pictures no matter what.
4) Smile from the heart, not from the head.

8) Pray without ceasing.
9) Don't forget to pray upon waking up and going to sleep.
10) Give thanks to God in everything we do, act, say.
11) Think before speaking.
12) Treat everyone and everything with respect; especially family.
